this is my favorite poem by hungarian poet, györgy petri...


a bee dying on a split
plum's honey flesh.
stewing, rotting,
going gold and black,
in the abandoned garden.

Wow.. what a surprise! György Petri was indeed one of the "masters" of latest Hungarian poetry. I'm so glad you know about him. And you have such a wide knowledge of poetry! Envy it really much. - I looked up the poem's original, it is truly a fine one. What translation do you have?
