El Bulli

Awhile back, I mentioned a book I had perused on a rainy day that I found exceptional. The book was about El Bulli, a restaurant two hours north of Barcelona on the Costa Brava, and considered "the best restaurant in the world" to many. I suggest you take a look at The Amateur Gourmet's most recent post about the best, most exhilarating meal of his life he just had at El Bulli (after waiting five years for a reservation!) Even if you don't care about food or cooking, you will experience childlike wonder while looking through photographs of the 30-course meal that at one points includes a dinosaur egg (made of coconut milk) for dessert!
